Going into college during the pandemic, there were many doors that became closed for me. However, during my education I found myself increasing obsessed with the wonderful people who inhabit the island we know as Taiwan, ultimately writing my undergraduate thesis on Taiwanese public diplomacy efforts. One thing led to another, and now I am studying for a Master’s in Asia-Pacific Studies at National Chengchi University in Taipei!

This blog was created to share stories of my journey as a graduate student, my thoughts on regional trends, and travel tips for Greater China and beyond! I hope you enjoy your visit.
