Taiwan Travel: Overnight Ferry to the Matsu Islands (Full Guide!)

Forget airplanes – I found a more adventurous (and cheaper!) way to reach the Matsu Islands: a 10-hour overnight ferry!

From quirky encounters with fellow passengers to stunning nighttime views of the coast, this journey was full of surprises. In this post, I’ll take you along for the ride on the New Taima from Keelung to Nangan. Today’s post features a video (a little experiment dare I call it). This was an ABSOLUTELY unique experience, and I highly recommend taking 8 minutes out of your day to learn about this quirky method of travel.

I’ve included some photos to give you a taste of what to expect, but trust me, you need to see the video to truly appreciate this unique way to travel. (If you want to see my fancy Premium Cabin you’ll have to watch the video!)
